Check Out Mercury FountainLocated in Fountain Square, Mercury Fountain is the focal point of Reston Town Center. This beautiful fountain was designed by Brazilian sculptor Saint Clair Cemin. The ancient Roman messenger for the gods Mercury flies 20 feet above the ground as water flows from glossy trumpets. People find inviting spots for sitting, conversing, and even having an impromptu picnic lunch in this elegantly landscaped site. Fountain Square is just across from the Pavilion, where many special events take place, so it’s a great spot for meeting up with friends.
Shopping for EveryoneFancy a new iPhone? In desperate need of an outfit for your yoga class? Or maybe you want to get a wedding shower gift for a friend. You’ll also find banks and financial institutions, day spas, and stationery supplies. Since the Town Center is a mixed-use area for locals and visitors, it’s commercial offerings include the practical along with the fanciful.
